The Thüringer Verband der Verfolgten des Naziregimes / Bund der Antifaschisten e.V. (TVVdN/BdA; Thuringian Association of the Persecuted of the Nazi Regime / League of Antifascists) is the legal successor of the Vereinigung der Verfolgten des Naziregimes (Association of Persecutees of the Nazi Regime) in Thuringia. The founders of the organization were the survivors of the fascist prisons and concentration camps as well as the brave women and men of the antifascist resistance.
Their guiding principle was always the legacy of the Oath of Buchenwald:
“We will not end the struggle until the final culprit has been brought before the judges of the nations! The destruction of Nazism, down to its roots, is our motto. The building of a new world of peace and freedom is our goal.”
To the very present, this legacy has remained the guideline and compass of the work carried out by the TVVdN/BdA.
